Listing Gains

Listing gains are the difference between an IPO’s issue price and its price when it starts trading. Many investors apply to IPOs only for listing gains and sell on the first day.

Why It Matters

A big listing gain means the company sold its shares too cheaply, from its own point of view.

In India

LG Electronics India listed at roughly a 50% premium to its issue price in October 2025.
